1950s

Bianca

Bianca is an elegant ensemble that was created by making a composite of two different vintage patterns. The blouse was recreated from a vintage pattern from 1955. The peacock blue, poly-rayon gabardine, pleated skirt was inspired by a vintage pattern from 1956. The Bianca skirt has a 1 1/2" waistband, oversized, cuffed patch pockets and 12 self-covered buttons.

The Bianca skirt is paired with this unique and sexy top. The blouse has raglan sleeves and is stitched in bone cotton broadcloth. It has tucks at waist and two button closure at front. The feature that makes this blouse unlike any other is the peacock blue channel stitching on turned up cuffs as well as the mitered stand up collar.
