Bikini top & Slacks

This bikini top was recreated from a vintage pattern from 1954. This design was intended to be worn with shorts, slacks or a skirt. It was not be be worn for swimming.

The two-tone cotton bikini top has halter straps and buttons up the back. The bikini front has three darts to shape the bustline. The top is well structured and can support the bosoms of larger busted women. The bikini is stitched in a black cotton broadcloth with small red and gold polka-dots. The halter straps and the bottom band are made in solid black, cotton broadcloth.

For your consideration, we have created two pant silhouettes stitched in black, satin-backed, rayon, faille crepe. Both of these slacks have the high-waist, longer rise and full-legs of the pants from the 1940s. Both of these designs would also pair nicely with the Halter and Sweetheart Top, as well as the Maxine, Desireé and Rosalind Blouses.

1" waistband with two darts at front.
These slacks a better for women who are shorter waisted.

2" waistband with four darts at front.
These slacks accommodate women with higher waist to hip ratios as well as those with longer waists.

Machine washable in delicate cycle with cold water.
