Charlie

Along with the Joe, the Charlie features a high, Hollywood waist. These Zoot suit style, black and white, wool, pin-striped trousers reflects the silhouette that during the war caused race riots due to the blatant disregard of the General Limitation Order that strictly rationed the amount of fabric to be used the construction of trousers and any other garment. The Zoot suit was seen as unpatriotic especially by those men fighting in the war. Unlike the Joe, the Charlie has a very exaggerated silhouette. The legs are quite full and taper severely at the hem. These trousers are intended to be worn with adjustable suspenders to maintain the proper placement of the trousers which should hit just below the ribs.

The burgundy, cotton twill, long sleeve shirt with shaped collar is a refreshing change from the traditional white dress shirt. The shirt is fitted from armpit to waist and features burgundy shank buttons.

The trousers are dry clean only.
Machine washable in delicate cycle with cold water or dry cleanable.
