Daisy

This charming, shirt-waisted, day dress was recreated from a vintage dress from 1935. Daisy has a lot of details found in designs from this period.

The bodice has gathers that are set into the shoulder seam and tucks at the waist. It closes with 4 self covered buttons and has a shaped collar. The front of the skirt has six pleats top stitched into place and then left untacked below the knee to serve as kick pleats. This brown and creme, rayon crepe dress has puffed sleeves and upturned cuffs. The back of the bodice has an action pleat that creates a tailored line while allowing for full range of movement for the arms.
