Collegiate length skirt & blouse with Peter Pan collar

The Collegiate-length skirt is a tribute to the College-aged, female, swing dancers from the 1940s. The six gore skirt moves well on the dance floor while being appropriate for daily wear. The length of the skirt hits below the knee in keeping with the style of the early 1940s. The skirt has a 2" waistband and zipper at the side.

This lipstick red, tencel gabardine blouse was adapted from a vintage blouse from 1946. The front of the blouse has both side darts as well as tucks at the waist. The blouse buttons up the front and has a Peter Pan collar. The sleeves have gathers at cap and a 1 1/2" upturned cuff.
