The Bathing Suit Collection
1940s

Kitty
Kitty was based on a vintage bathing suit from 1946. Like the Ruby, the types of fabrics used in the original garment were matched exactly. This means that stretch lycra used in contemporary bathing suits are not used in this or any of our other designs. You will find your experience wearing this suit to be comparible to the experience of a woman who wore the original in 1946.
Kitty is a white and black polka-dot, faille crepe, two-piece, bathing suit. The bikini gathers at the side bodice and center front when cinched in with the ties. There is black broadcloth contrast at the top and side bands of the bikini, ties at center front, as well as the waistband on the skirt. The five gore skirt features built-in, white knit, modesty trunks. Skirt closes with buttons up the center front.
