1920s

Opal

This elegant frock was found in a French fashion magazine published in 1924 as a recommended addition to your wedding trouseau. Opal is constructed of sage green rayon georgette. The square neckline is framed with a pumpkin, brown, sage and white Deco silk jersey print applique which runs down the center of the dress. This fabric can also be found at the split butterfly sleeves and at the flounce that is attached below the hips. The elongated bodice of the dress attaches to the skirt in wide finger joints. The under skirt of sage green sports box pleats at the side for ease of movement.

Dry clean only.
