Prudence
Cobbled together from two seperate source materials, Prudence is a study in simple elegance.

The creme silk georgette, scooped neck blouse was inspired by an illustration from a catalogue from 1923. The blouse as four tucks at the front and back waist. The Peter Pan collar and cuffs are sewn in brown silk georgette as is the bow at center front.
Dry clean only.

The Prudence blouse is paired with this cotton striped dirndl skirt. This silhouette has wonderful details unseen since 1921 when this design was first created. The skirt has a three inch waistband into which the two gore skirt is gathered and set. The patch pockets are the Prudence skirt's crowning glory. The pocket is elongated and has a series of pintucks. The narrowest portion of the pocket double backs on itself and is secured with eight buttons corresponding with the pintucks on the face.
