1950s

Sid

This unusual gray and white, pebbled, poly-rayon fabric is reminescent of the sharkskin fabric used in men's clothing in the 1950s. The double pleated pants fit at the natural waistline and like the Jack have longer rise, set in front pockets and double welt back pockets. The legs of the Sid trousers are full at the waist and taper to a 2" cuff.

The Sid trousers are accompanied by a dark gray, rayon gabardine shirt. This shirt is unlike any of our other men's shirts as the back of the shirt has an unusual detail. Set into the yoke is an action vent in contrasting black fabric. The "J" shaped piece enables the back of the shirt to lie smoothly against the body yet allow for full range of movement of the arms. You will notice that the black accents are repeated at the collar, cuffs and patch pockets.

Shirt and trousers may dry cleaned or machine washed in cold water.
