Cobbled together from two separate source materials, Prudence is a study in simple elegance. The Prudence blouse is paired with this cotton striped dirndl skirt. This silhouette has wonderful details unseen since 1921 when this design was first created. The skirt has a three-inch waistband into which the two gore skirt is gathered and set. The patch pockets are the Prudence skirt's crowning glory. The pocket is elongated and has a series of pintucks. The narrowest portion of the pocket double backs on itself and is secured with eight buttons corresponding with the pintucks on the face.
