Eloise is a finely tailored two-piece suit constructed in shades of aubergine reflecting the height of fashion in 1925. The jacket's style lines are accented with satin piping contrasting nicely with the matte appearance of the wool. The jacket's cut has flattering princess lines. The front seams finish with a sharp slope angle at the hip that becomes a pocket accented with four buttons. The unusual sleeves are bell shaped featuring piping set 2 inches apart down the center of the sleeve and punctuated with 8 satin buttons. The bell of the sleeve is lined in satin. The sleeves have no seams at the under arm. The two-tone lapel has a long line with a 1 1/2" button at the low waist. The jacket is fully lined in rayon taffeta.
Eloise is accompanied by a bodice skirt. The top is stitched in rayon satin with 1" straps and attached to a skirt in wool matching the jacket. The base of the skirt has a band of satin that balances the satin at the top of the jacket.
Dry clean only.
