Tunic Blouse
& Slacks with Cut-away Pockets

This silhouette for slacks was inspired by an illustration from a catalogue from 1943. The full-legged cut of the slacks was typical for the period. This design has cut-away pockets and 2" waistband. You will find that the rise on these slacks are lower than contemporary ones. The Slacks with Cut-away Pockets are stitched in aubergine, rayon, faille crepe and have 2" cuff.

These slacks are also offered a bone linen-cotton as shown with the Wrap Blouse.

This bone and plum, striped, linen-cotton Tunic Blouse was derived from a vintage pattern from 1934. This charming blouse has many unusual features. The Tunic Blouse is made up of 8 main pieces. The raglan sleeves connect with the front of the blouse by way of unique, functional pockets set above the bust. The collar buttons at the throat. The peplum is hip length. The seam at the waist is covered by a belt that has two 3/8" self-covered buttons.

Slacks and blouse may dry cleaned or hand washed in cold water and line dried.
