1940s

Veronica

Veronica's silhouette was influenced by a 1940s photograph of Rita Hayworth in a two-piece evening gown with a bare middrift. The bodice and skirt are stitched in off-white rayon crepe. The bodice wraps around the lower bust to create a surplice neckline. The sleeves gather at the caps and have an unusual set of tucks at the hem. The skirt is patterned out of a single piece of fabric with five darts to shape the waist can closes with hooks and eyes as side front. Both the bodice and skirt are edged with antique gold lame trim.

Dry clean only.
