Violet

Violet is inspired by a 1924 fashion illustration. This two-piece evening frock is made up of a outer dress and accompanying slip. The outer dress in aubergine silk georgette has a scooped neckline and is sleeveless. The front of the dress is slit over one leg and is swept into a drape at the hip topped with a handmade rosette with sage green leaves. The back of the neck has an inset cape. The entire dress is edged hand applied with silver seed beads. The
sage silk charmeuse slip is a sheath with darts at the side bust. The straps are 3/4" wide. The slip has box pleates at each side.
