This 1950s rayon-acetate halter top was derived from an illustration from a catalogue from 1955. This top has a flattering shape that works well on women with higher bust to waist ratios. The lower part of the bodice has two darts while the top of this piece is pleated into the neck ties. The front midriff comes to a point at center front and has shaped side seams. The back midriff has a princess line and buttons up the back.
