Sailor Top
The Sailor Top and Shorts were adapted from a WWII USO pin-up outfit from 1945. The midriff sailor top is stitched in royal blue, rayon gabardine. The front of the bodice has three darts to shape the bust line. The sleeves have three darts at the top to create a straight line from the shoulder. The bottom of the blouse is bound and there is a three-button closure at the center front. The shawl collar is trimmed with white soutache as are the sleeves.
