Stella

$155.00

Stella is derived from two separate vintage patterns. The dress, circa 1956, is stitched in raspberry bengaline which is a decidedly quintessential fabric of the period. The shirt-waisted dress buttons up the front with 11 self covered buttons. The five gore skirt is full enough to be plumped up with a petticoat or crinolines for added fullness. The simple lines of the bodice create a crisp tailored silhouette with raglan sleeves. The notched scooped neckline is a beautiful way to frame your face. We have left the Stella dress unbuttoned from the waist to hem to show off the accompanying petticoat. However, the dress can be worn completely buttoned with or without an underskirt.
